Remember those BBB winners? Find out how they are!

While some have doubled their assets, others have lost everything and today live in poverty.

Big Brother Brasil aired for the first time in 2002, being presented by Pedro Bial and Marisa Orth, who disappeared from the program until Bial took over as sole presenter. Since then, many participants have left the house as BBB winners with heaps of money in their bank account.

In the beginning, the prize was only R$ 500.000,00, and the first edition was contested by André, Vanessa and champion Kleber Bambam, who won. But what did Bambam and the other brothers do with the prize?

Today we are going to spy on the lives of 10 BBB da Globo champions and understand a little about their respective trajectories outside the reality show.

1.  Kleber by Paula Pedra – Bambam

Bambam was one of the first BBB winners and was marked in the history of the program for making a scrap doll, a companion to overcome the loneliness of confinement. The Maria Eugênia doll is still with her brother, who even took her to The Noite com Danilo Gentili.

After the BBB, BamBam multiplied the premium from investments. In addition, he took advantage of his hype, participating in famous programs, such as Turma do Didi.

In 2003, the famous returned to the BBB, but, due to conflicts with other participants, he left the program. These days, BamBam dedicates himself to bodybuilding and his modeling career.

2.  Rodrigo Leonel – Cowboy

Nicknamed 'cowboy' by the brothers, Rodrigo became well known in the confinement for his agroboy style. In addition, the participant was marked after bringing his romance with his confinement colleague Thaís to life from TV.

The cowboy from the 2nd edition did not make good investments, which led him to lose the entire award. In fact, as soon as he got out of confinement, he bought more than 1.000 calves and made investments in a shoe distributor and in a stamping shop.

In 2008, Rodrigo no longer had even a penny of the prize, in addition to getting involved in legal problems. In 2007, friends of his even raised some money to pay the former BBB's bail of R$ 30.000,00.

The constant debts made the brother go back to being horse trainer. Currently, Rodrigo is a real estate manager.

3.  André Augusto Ferreira Fontes – Dhomini

One of the BBB winners who entered the history of the most watched house in Brazil was Dhomini. The brother was known for his romantic relationship with Sabrina Sato. After the reality, the champion made investments in a gas station, which went bankrupt, leaving the ex-brother in the mud. Although he tried career in politics and in music, it ended up not going forward.

In the 13th edition, he had the chance to go back to the house, but he was eliminated in the 2nd week. Currently, Dhoni works in sales together with his wife.

4.  Gecilda da Silva dos Santos – Cida

Gecilda da Silva dos Santos conquered the whole of Brazil, winning the 4th season of the BBB. But her life outside of reality was not so promising, since deadbeats deceived her sister. Incidentally, the ex-BBB was sued after being the guarantor of a lessee who decided not to pay the rent.

Cida spent a lot of money renovating the property so that her name could be removed from the process. However, the process was maintained, and the ex-BBB had to place her mansion at auction. The champion also sank after lending money to friends, who did not return it.

Cida attempted a political career, but failed to be elected. Currently, she shares a kitchenette with her children and husband, who supports the house.

5.   Jean Wyllys

In the 5th edition, the prize became more robust, in the amount of R$ 1 million and the big winner was Jean Wyllys. Out of confinement, Wyllys focused on his political career and, in 2018, he was elected to fulfill his 3rd term as Federal Deputy for PSOL. The former BBB decided not to take over and went to live in Europe.

But, it is worth mentioning that Wyllys has become an important figure in the cause of the rights of the LGBTQIAP+ community. After all, he was considered one of the 50 people who fight the most for community rights in the world in 2015. These days, the champion has focused on his studies and painting, sharing his arts on Instagram.

6.  Mara Viana

Mara Viana was the finalist and champion of the 6th edition of the BBB. Part of the prize was invested in the treatment of his daughter Aracy, who could not walk. In addition, the former sister invested part of the money in the real estate sector.

Viana also managed to realize her big dream of attend the faculty of theology and Psychology. We can say that Mara Viana is a great example of resilience and entrepreneurship. After all, her prize was multiplied by about 10x.

7. Diego Gasques – German

Diego Alemão, as he became known, became one of the BBB winners after winning the 7th edition of the program. Upon leaving confinement, Alemão attempted a political career, but was unsuccessful.

Currently, the ex-brother is dedicated to surfing and has investments in construction sector. In an interview, Alemão revealed that the prize won was small compared to what he already earned outside the most watched house in Brazil.

8. Rafael Carvalho

In the 8th edition, the public gave victory to Rafinha, the brother who became known for his loyalty to his girlfriend, who was waiting for him outside.

The champion tried to pursue a career in music, but without much success. Nowadays, Rafinha dedicates herself to the universe of tattooing, having her own studio. Part of his winnings was invested in real estate.

9. Maximilian 

The ex-brother became quite famous for his strategic profile and for his romance with Francine. Already out of the program, the champion reported that he spent the prize paying off debts and traveling around the world.

Currently, Max performs the function he already had before joining the BBB, that of plastic artist. In addition, he has a podcast in which he interviews ex-BBB's.

10. Marcelo Dourado

The 10th edition aired in 2010 and the prize increased to R$ 1,5 million. The big winner, Marcelo Dourado, got 60% of the votes. Although he had already participated in the 4th season, the bad boy attitude led Dourado to be the great villain of the competition, leaving the house. But in 2010, things were different.

The ex-brother who was acclaimed by a huge crowd left the winning reality. But, to this day, we don't know the true end of his award. That's because Dourado has already deceived journalists by saying that he spent the money with games of chance in a strategy of not lending money to acquaintances.

According to what he revealed in the last few interviews, Dourado invested the award in his fighter career and today works as a physical educator.
